thought he spoke out of turn. Hip Hop was charting and big money was being made;
but over the last year or so, hip hop ratings have mostly fallen off the charts.
What happened? Did we move on to something else or does the hip hop community
have to go back to the drawing board.
I hate saying it; but I think it’s the music. I’ve been into hip hop from the beginning; but for the last several years, we’ve been hearing the same music remixed. And no, I don’t think hip hop is dead; but most of it is boring (I can’t believe I said that; but I did.) How many guns can you fire, take someone else’s woman and who cares how much money you have, how many cars you drive or where you live. It’s time to step up the game with fresh stuff. We want the music. What do you think?
